Hello
Can You provide some detail about your forecast model?
Please provide a forecast grid resolution size?
Do You have any examples using solarradiance and/or solarenergy in pv production predictions ?
Thank You.

Thank you for your question! Our forecast model blends multiple forecast models from around the world to create the forecast. These model include the German DWD Icon models, the US HRRR, NAM and GFS models.
The horizontal resolution varies between location and hour of forecast. In the US and Europe, the resolution starts at approximately 2km resolution for the initial hours of the forecast (typically first 1-5 days depending on the source model) and then steps up to approximately 10km to 25km for future hours. Resolutions are approximate because the actual forecast is performed on a latitude, longitude grid so cell sizes vary with latitude (cells closer to the poles will be smaller).
For more information, please see https://www.visualcrossing.com/resources/blog/how-do-we-create-our-multi-location-weather-forecast/.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have any examples on using solar engine for PV predictions. We will pass this to our documentation team to consider as we are continually adding more samples to our docs.
