I would like to inquire about how the data from different stations are processed? I understand from previous posts that you place higher weight to stations closer to the location, but I would like to understand how this done, weighted average? Based on what? quality or close proximity? Additionally, can you please expand on the remote station please?

Please note that this is the default behavior and all queries can ask for specific station-only data or limit the stations by number or distance from your location.
Remote sources can be radar, satellite, last forecast or reanalysis data sources. These are used in the default scenario as backups to the ground-based stations, when either there is insufficient or if our system has determined the data to be of low quality or incorrect. Again, most of this is configurable for your preferred source of data but our system is designed to give you the best known available data for every query.
