Cannot connect to VC Weather api

I am having difficulty retrieving the results from a request, the request errors with Socket error #10054 - COnnection reset by peer.

 

Here is my request

https://weather.visualcrossing.com/VisualCrossingWebServices/rest/services/weatherdata/forecast?locations=49.02,-122.805&aggregateHours=24&includeAstronomy=true&contentType=json&unitGroup=metric&key=<MY API KEY>

Can you suggest a reason why I would receive this error? Although I am using older software such requests have worked previously with services like DarkSky, Openweather.org etc. Could there be any specific headers that are required?

  This was resolved by changing the default mode in the SSL options to 'sslmClient' in the library.
