Insight about the data retrieval process ?

When I query about the last hour, the data is not precise (goes up and down only in steps of 1°C) and is using station id LFRN and LFRD.

When I query about the same hour the previous week, the data is precise, and is using station id 07130099999 and such.

It seems new data was available in the meantime, in particular from the station 07130099999. I found data from this station here : https://public.opendatasoft.com/explore/dataset/donnees-synop-essentielles-omm/table/?flg=fr&sort=date&refine.nom=RENNES-ST+JACQUES

The station seems to publish data from the precedent day with a 3 hour interval, but is available on visualcrossing after a few day with a 1 hout interval. Why ? How ? Can we have some insight about the data retrieval process ?

  Four-letter codes such as LFRN represent airports and similar major station installations and they report via the MADIS station network.  MADIS data is typically available within about 15 minutes of the reported time.  The stations with long numeric IDs report via the ISD network.  Their reporting systems results in their data taking about 3 days to be available in our weather database.

  Also do you know the difference between station LFRN and 07130099999 ?

  Also (sorry for commenting again but I think it is not clear in original post) my main interrogation is about the time when the data is available on visualcrossing, there seem to be ~5 days of delay between the publication of the weather station and the availability on the visualcrossing.
