Why aren't Event Planner and Average Weather the same?

I used both panels to get the weather for the same day and location and the results are different. Not a lot, but they are definitely not the same. Look at May 13 for 41.3471,2.1524. One shows a 12% change of precip; the other shows 11%. The rain percentage for the afternoon is different. Shouldn't these two be the same? Since the date is in the future, shouldn't both use the same historical database to arrive at a data?

  Thank you for your question. The core databases are the same however the two dashboards do not use the Weather API in exactly the same way. In particular, the Event Planner uses a larger day buffer around the target date. This will cause slight differences in the results between the two dashboards.
